About

Just who am I? I am me…well…I’m someone who is non- conforming and doesn’t believe in labels. I don’t “fit” into any one category. I have a lot of interests that at any time can be activated by a sight, smell, sound or topic of conversation. I get off-track easily and work and think in a circular fashion.

My blog is a hodge-podge of my personal sojourn in this life time. My reglious philosophy is based on the teachings and principals of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Known as “LDS” or “Mormon”.  My thoughts and writing are of a PG-13 version. I am not the typical Utah Mormon that people seem to lump us into. I live in California for one thing. And thanks to Big Love and The Book of Mormon Musical, I can tell you that we are all not like we are being portrayed. First off, you can’t be a member of our church if you are a polygamist. That is a major misunderstanding. And second, having served a mission for my church, at the age of 21, I can attest that my mission was not the thing that Broadway Musicals was made of.

Me. Myself. I continue to develop and progress. I am not stagnate. I am too curious about life to sit on the curb and watch the world go by without me being an active participant in it. I am changing, but some things remain constant. My religious beliefs. My ethics. My virtues. My morals.

Follow along as I discover life as it evolves. I can assure you that it will be an interesting adventure!

    Hi there,

This is Cassie currently studying in the UK, it’s really glad to find you in the internet, coz I’m doing a feature story on pilgrimage and it is for my master’s dissertation which is on tourism.
And I became a member of LDS two months ago and now still having lessons with the missionaries (they’re awesome!!) in the church, so personally I hope to find something or someone related to Mormon for my interview on pilgrimage so that I can complete the feature as well as learn about Mormon. And then I found your blog!!!

I’ve got only several days left before the deadline, so I wonder if I could get in touch with you (as soon as possible) to have a conversation about your pilgrimage to CAMINO DE SANTIAGO via phone or Skype.

My email is cassiejiang13@gmail.com, it would be great if you’re willing to share me your experiences and spiritual gains during the journey! Looking forward to hear from you!

    Sincerely,
    Cassie
